It is a very hot Summer day today, not sultry or muggy, just nice and warm. Even mum enjoys it. Recently we have been to this lake, which is actually an active sandpit. It is lovely to cool down, but since recently dogs are not wanted anymore. And since last Sunday swimming and fun for humans is prohibited as well: a young Polish man died while swimming to the island in the middle. It was a big story here! Actually it is not a dangerous place...to enjoy yourself is not an easy story in Germany....sigh! Only the swans and other waterbirds are still allowed to be around....I always loved to be there and run on the large sand area bigger than any beach!

This is my little Hexe! Isn't she cute? Waiting for crabs, I suppose...she loves to eat them!
